Equipment manufacturing capacity
As a specialized manufacturing and shop repair base for urban rail transit vehicles, Beijing Subway Rolling Stock Equipment Co.,Ltd. has more than ten types of metro vehicle production equipments, nearly 2,800 sets. The company has the first-class carbon steel and stainless steel car bodies, bogie welding and assembly production lines, urban rail transit vehicle assembly production lines, and static and dynamic adjustment test lines. The company is not only equipped with international advanced production and processing equipments such as welding robot, numerically controlled planer type milling machine, assembly spot welding equipments, but also equipped with complete process equipments and test equipments such as turning, milling, planing, grinding, riveting, welding, clamp and heat treatment. With multiple times of technical transformation, the company has formed a complete system of processing, assembly and test equipments required for the manufacturing of rail transit vehicles.
 
Professional production equipments
Beijing Subway Rolling Stock Equipment Co.,Ltd. has a considerable scale of special equipments for vehicle production. In 2011, for the capacity enlargement project, we purchased the international advanced welding robot and hydraulic correction machine which greatly improved the welding ability and manufacturing precision to the bogie frame; the numerically controlled planer type milling machine imported from Japan has realized the precision machining of bogie frame; stainless steel car body roof frame welding system imported from Korea, stainless steel car body roof assembly welding system imported from Japan and stainless steel car body assembly welding system have solved the bottleneck process which restricts the stainless steel car body production capacity of Beijing Subway Rolling Stock Equipment Co.,Ltd., and realized the annual comprehensive production capacity of 250 stainless steel car bodies. The company has 55 sets of sheet metal equipment based on numerically controlled equipments, including the bending machine imported from US, numerically controlled plate shearing and bending machine imported from Japan, domestic numerically controlled bending machine, flattener, numerically controlled plasma flame cutting machine, etc. Specialized processing equipments for vehicle running gear includes the 315T numerically controlled press, numerically controlled vertical lathe, numerically controlled axle lathe, numerically controlled axle grinding machine, etc.
 
Special test equipments
Beijing Subway Rolling Stock Equipment Co.,Ltd. has hundreds of instrument and meter test equipments, which can complete the measurement test of geometrical parameter, mechanics, chemistry, electromagnetic and electrical systems. The test devices, including electrical machines and appliances test station, brake test bench, urban rail transit vehicle weighing system, wheel set static and dynamic balance test equipment, wheel set running test bench, bogie weighing and spring adjustment test bench, brake energy absorption device and rain test station, etc. can be used to conduct individual and comprehensive performance tests of urban rail transit vehicles. These detection and test equipments play an irreplaceable role in ensuring and improving the product quality of metro vehicles. The company has an urban rail transit vehicle dynamic debugging test line with a length of 1.3 kilometers, which meets the type test and routine test for the standard trains of 750V/1,500V pantograph, three-track upper current collecting, and three-track lower current collecting.
 
Special equipments for vehicle design
The factory has an advanced CAD/CAE/CAPP/PLM integrated network application system, equipped with specialized UNIX and NT engineering workstations, equipped with international advanced 3D design, analysis software and specialized product data management software, and has the design and development capability of electronic sample vehicle design, simulation and finite element analysis optimization.
