Brief Introduction
Beijing Subway Rolling Stock Equipment Co.,Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as BSR) is an important subsidiary of State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of People's Government of Beijing Municipality. The composition and proportion of shareholders are Beijing Rail Transit Technology Equipment Group Co., Ltd. (51%) and Beijing Subway Operation Co.,Ltd. (49%). It is mainly engaged in the design, manufacture and maintenance of urban rail transit vehicles, equipment, accessories, rail inspection car, subway advertising light boxes, regenerative braking energy absorption devices and products of steel structure, with a registered capital of 1298.8441 million yuan and has the ability of technical development, technical consultation, technical training and technical services of urban rail transit vehicles.
The company has more than 1300 employees, including nearly 200 technicians. The company covers an area of 230,000 square meters. At present, it has the carbon steel and stainless steel car body production line and bogie welding and assembly line for urban rail vehicle, developed and applied with CAD/CAE/PLM/CAPP comprehensive information research and development platform, supporting more than 2500 sets of, ten types of specialized processing and manufacturing equipment, process equipment and testing, inspection and experimental equipment, etc., has a 1.3km long multi-standard special test line and supporting signal control system, which can meet the routine test requirements of urban rail vehicles before leaving the factory. At present, it has the production capacity of 250 new cars/year and 100 repair cars/year.
The company's strategic development takes both social and economic benefits into account. As a strategic emerging industry, BSR has the function of ensuring the safety of urban operation, the nature of urban public service enterprises, and the nature of high-end equipment manufacturing enterprise. Since the repair and production of vehicles in 1987, four series of urban rail transit vehicles have been developed, including cam resistance regulation, chopper resistance regulation, chopper voltage regulation and VVVF technology. The company has mastered the manufacturing technology of advanced subway trains and formed a complete independent R & D system and industrial production system. So far, more than 1500 vehicles have been repaired and reconstructed in terms of shop repair, providing guarantee for the safe operation of the capital city. A total number of more than 2,500 newly built vehicles has been delivered to the domestic and foreign customers in terms of newly built rail transit vehicles.

Through independent innovation, joint development and other ways, BSR has continued to carry out the product technology innovation. Through continuous improvement and perfection of technology development system and technology management system, and mastering and using the most advanced technology development tools, the company will enhance the overall R & D capability of urban rail transit vehicles; comprehensively master the technology of type A and B urban rail transit vehicles, continuously develop new technologies, new processes and new products to meet the customer need, and study the value-added service of technology upgrading; fully master 100% low-floor tram car technology and form industrial application; fully master shop repair technology of VVVF subway vehicles and stainless steel vehicles, vigorously carry out intelligent research of shop repair, so as to lay a foundation for comprehensively realizing technical upgrading of shop repair.
Pay attention to the improvement of self management and continuously enhance the core competitiveness of the enterprise. In 2000, the company obtained ISO9001 China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) and United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) certification certificates, and in 2010 obtained the GB/T28001 occupational health and safety management system, ISO14001 environmental management system certification certificate and EN15085 welding product certification certificate. In December 2010, the company obtained the qualification of urban rail vehicle bidding enterprise and high-tech enterprise. In July 2015, the company obtained IRIS (international railway industry standard) certification. With the upgrading of the standard, the company carried out the upgrading of the management system, and obtained the ISO / TS 22163:2017 and ISO14001:2015 certification in May 2018, and the ISO45001:2018 certification in May 2019.
