Train of Beijing Subway Line 13
The train of Beijing subway line 13, manufactured by BSR in 2004, is the first urban rail transit line running on the ground in Beijing. For the first time, it adopts streamline body design and is equipped with air conditioning and heating system. And also, it adopts internationally-advanced transmission technology and digital analog brake.
In 2008, BSR carried out 4-to-6 expansion and reconstruction for the 4-car trains of line 13. The reconstructed train is a 6-car vehicle of 3 motor cars and 3 trailer cars with a maximum capacity of 1,880 passengers. The first expansion and transformation of urban rail transit in China has effectively improved the transport capacity and ensured the success of the 2008 Olympic Games on the basis of unchanged line conditions.
