Train of Beijing Subway Line 8
The vehicle of Beijing subway line 8 phase II manufactured by BSR in 2012 is a standard "B" type stainless steel 6-car train of 3 motor cars and 3 trailer cars, with the maximum running speed of 80km/h and the maximum capacity of 1,880 passengers. The train adopts new generation of lightweight stainless steel car body, which is 10% lighter than the previous stainless steel car body.
The vehicle of line 8 phase III manufactured by BSR in 2018 adopts the fully domestic traction system, auxiliary power supply system, train control and monitoring system and signal system, which embodies the concept of "based on domestic, mature and reliable". BSR adheres to the principle of consistency between the installation interfaces of vehicle parts (traction motor, electrical boxes and main parts, main parts, various valves, switches and electronic circuit boards in them, various equipment in the vehicle, bogies, etc.) and the existing vehicles of line 8, so as to ensure good compatibility and interchangeability among all parts, and at the same time, to analyze the problems exposed in the operation of the original vehicles to ensure that the configuration, technical performance and reliability of the vehicles of Beijing subway Line 8 phase III are higher than those of the vehicles of Beijing subway Line 8 currently in operation.
